1 French baguette, sliced into thin pieces200 g cream cheese
150 g smoked mackerel, chopped into small pieces
1 medium-sized red onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp freshly chopped dill
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and black pepper to taste
How to prepare:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.Slice the bread into thin pieces and arrange them on a baking tray.
Bake the bread in a preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes crispy and golden.
In a large bowl, whisk the cream cheese with lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to taste.
Once the bread is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Spread each slice with the cream cheese mixture.
Distribute the smoked mackerel pieces on top of the bruschettas.
Place a few slices of red onion on each bruschetta.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with fresh dill.
